At the helm of the Anglo-American Press Association of Paris (as President in 2005 and co-President for the centenary, two years later), she is also a life member of the NUJ (National Union of Journalists).
Her “distinctly Desigual” career encompasses a flamboyant art influencer debut pursued in Paris after starting out in her native “Swinging London”, a decade of hard and fast reporting for TIME Inc., as well as “a tutti frutti of editorial adventures”. Among these: a ten-year tenure as Assistant Editor of The Paris Voice, for which she wrote a trends column, and a “long-distance love affair” with sassy French glossy CitizenK International.
During the ‘noughties’, Georgina Oliver co-edited The New Waver – France’s cutting-edge, a trailblazing bookzine, “which focused on the arts, science, business and technology”, occasionally branching out into Web content, online storytelling, radio and television.
