I am a Dutch journalist, editor and publisher based in Spain. Through InSpanje.nl (2011), I report in Dutch on Spanish news, society, politics and everyday life for readers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Spain.
In 2021, I launched InSpain.news to bring accessible Spain-related journalism to an English-speaking audience.
Alongside my news and editorial work, I write and publish in-depth travel guides for readers who want to discover Spain beyond the obvious. My published guides include Málaga and Salamanca, with Segovia and Burgos currently in development.
I am also working on a cross-border investigative journalism project supported by a European Cross-border Grant from Journalismfund Europe.
