Paul is a relative latecomer to writing, only starting in earnest when he retired from his previous career in education in 2005 and relocated to Spain, where he now lives in the Serranía de Ronda. He had a spell at The Olive Press in 2008-2009 and was also a regular columnist for The Iberian Times and for Olive Country Life magazine, based in Alcalá la Real, Jaén. He has also had articles published in The Sunday Times, Sur in English and the EuroWeekly News.
Now a blogger, he was a regular contributor to several websites including The Olive Press and Secret Andalucía, but now focuses on his own website, Help me Ronda. He also contributes regularly to Eye on Spain, where he writes under several aliases, covering Life in Spain, the Spanish language, Spanish Culture, How to …?, and Travel.
He is preparing a set of books on Ronda and Montejaque, the two places where he spends most of his time.
He is also the official translator for Ronda Council’s Culture and Tourism departments.
