Next Meeting

The Costa Press Club meets on average every two months at different venues on the western Costa del Sol, usually with a dinner and sometimes with guest speakers or special events. Guests and potential new members are welcome (contact any committee member). If you have an idea for a venue or guest speaker, please let us know. Details of the next scheduled meeting are outlined below.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Costa Press Club's Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday, 20 January 2025 at a new venue: Restaurante Tapa y Tai, C. Jaén, 2, Fuengirola (close to the Hotel Angela) from 7pm onwards. Save the date!

Important: Please scroll down to the bottom of this message for the formal call to the AGM. If you cannot attend it is important you send us a proxy voting form.

Tapa y Tai is a highly rated, cosy restaurant on the same street as the Hotel Angela entrance, just off the seafront in Fuengirola. We are told there is usually good parking on the seafront at this time of year or the ample parking at the Feria ground is about 10 minutes’ easy walk away as is Los Boliches Cercanías station.

The meal will be a selection of dishes served across the tables. The full menu is at the end of this email. There is no need to choose in advance. One welcome drink (wine, beer or soft drink) is included. Other drinks should be paid separately at the bar on ordering.

Special subsidised price to members 25 euros.

(For those who would like to bring a guest, please let us know as soon as possible and we will place on a waiting list until early January before confirming so we see expected attendance versus space. Guests 35 euros. Guests cannot take part in the first part of the evening.)

Please confirm by Thursday 16th January if you will be attending to info@costapressclub.com only. (If you are only attending the meeting part at the start and not dinner afterwards, please make clear in writing when you confirm that you will not be dining. If you do not mention, we will assume you are staying for dinner.)

NOTIFICATION OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Following the regulations laid down in Article 14-f of the current statutes of the Asociación Club de Prensa Costa del Sol, the president requests that you attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to discuss the items on the Agenda given below.  The AGM will take place at Restaurante Tapa y Tai in Fuengirola on Monday 20 January 2025 at 7.00 pm and, if the necessary quorum is not reached, it will reconvene half an hour later at 7.30 pm.

If you are not able to attend the AGM, please send a proxy (available on request) by email to info@costapressclub.com with full name and NIE/DNI number, full name and NIE/DNI of CPC-member representing you, and - very important  - date and your signature (no need for theirs).
